My Favorite Face Oil

I randomly stumbled across my now go to face oil. Scrolling through my instagram one day, I found a sponsored post by Biossance. They had a promo going on for their oils and I decided to check it out. I use it several times a day for different purposes. Here are some ways I use the oils.

I purchased the Biossance Squalane Oil and the Squalane Vitamin Rose Oil. I use the Squaline oil on my face every night after washing my face. I like to keep my nighttime routine minimal. Your skin cells rebuild at night and I like to let my skin breath at night, but I make an exception for the oils. I’ve been using the squaline oil for about 6 months now and I’ve definitely noticed a difference. My skin feels smooth in the mornings and looks hydrated.

Primer For My Makeup

I normally use L.A. Girl primer (which I also highly recommend and its super inexpensive) before applying my makeup but recently I’ve started using the oil as my primer. I don’t use a lot of oil, just a few drops and just massage it in my face. I love how my makeup looks so flawless and dewey when I use the oil. It gives a smooth flawless look and luckily it doesn’t make my skin oily. I don’t recommend using the oil on a exceptionally humid day, but it’s perfectly okay to use during the summer.

Other Uses

Whenever I use the oils, I always make sure to apply it on my neck as well. So often people ignore their necks and don’t apply product to their neck but its vital that we show our necks the same TLC. I apply the oil to my neck and decollete. I also apply it on my body as well, especially my elbows and knees. You can use the oil for your hair as well, I just haven’t tried it in my hair yet.

So far, I love using the oils and have noticed an improvement in my skin for sure, but most of all love it as a primer substitute. Hope you all like it, let me know your thoughts if you use it or are planning to use it.

XO,

Shar
